Five Keys To Great Leadership

If you look around you and notice the people who seem to be the most effective leaders in terms of influence and getting things done, they usually have some traits in common:

  • Clarity of communication: they have the ability to instill clarity.
  • The mindset of a coach: they act as a mentor and coach to those around them.
  • Exemplary behaviors: they act in accordance with the values they espouse in their teams.
  • Outcome-focused: they don't confuse activity and achievement.
  • Feedback: they aren't defensive around feedback - they take it, act on it, and give it with care.
